Quickly remove and eliminate the OEM key switch. Simple plug in installation, the fuel pump kicks on and pressurizes the system with a tap of the start button.
NOTE:
- You
- unplug the OE key switch
- installing the 26-234 for it to work properly.
ATTENTION: The 26-234 is designed for use on the above listed bikes in their stock form, and may, or may not work with an aftermarket ECU installed. Some aftermarket ECU's change the wiring, this can possibly cause issues including not letting the bike start, not letting the bike shut down, and/or creating a battery drain, when the 26-234 is installed.
- This key eliminator is NOT the same as leaving the key on, it actually bypasses and eliminates the key. The 26-234 reroutes how the power is delivered to the fuel pump. On 2017-19 EXC's the fuel pump power is routed through the stock key switch, key on = fuel pump powered up. This is why you kill the battery when you leave the key on. With the 26-234 installed the power to the fuel pump is rerouted through a relay already on the bike that is activated when you tap the start button.
